By day, Marissa is a trend forecasting editor and copywriter—by night, she is a comedy writer and performer in New York City.
Marissa leads a character sketch team at The Tank Theater as part of The Armory Comedy. She is a founding member of DMXX, an all-female-identifying hip-hop improv team that freestyle raps all over the country, and is one half of Soul Crush Comedy, a sketch duo who writes about the soul-crushing realities of life (but in a fun way). She has written for Startup Late Night with Mary Lemmer, The Spotlight at UCB, Old School Sketch Show at The PIT, Moxie Sketch Lab, and been a member of house teams at multiple NYC Comedy theaters. She is also part of the core cast of the boisterous show Shot4Shot: A Drinking Show with a Movie Problem.
Marissa has also performed in a competitive karaoke league (and won) and has been a hand model (twice).
